These photos were taken by us during Jerry Ghionis’s Melbourne 09 workshop, an international renowned wedding photographer. Thank you Jerry for the awesome workshop, totally inspired and now injected with creativity and fresh ideas. All photos below were directed by Jerry but taken by us.
This video was immediately produced after the wedding ceremony to be played as a special item at the dinner reception on the same day. We know that there are some minor flaws, but as you can understand, we were given four hours to edit and combine the photos and video together into a single coherent slideshow. This excludes one hour of exporting the video into 720P MOV H.264 file! This video is in its original form without any further enhancements.
We couldn’t have done it without God helping us get through the pressure. It was an incredible mad experience. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to showcase our photography and thrilled to hear that the newlyweds and guests loved the wedding slideshow. Thank you once again for all your encouraging and positive feedback.
Happy marriage Kim and Jason!

Totally different list than what i’m used to, looks like all the winners from last year are all gone but some were still nominated. All the non American photographers are all gone, I vaguely remember people previously complaining that that majority of photographers were all from Americans and this was not a true list. Looks like they decided to keep it simple and keep it to Americans in the end, the magazine is called ‘American Photo’.
The only one that I know and have been watching on this list has been Jasmine Star, you might remember my Untraditional Bride article, congratulations Jasmine (lifts my jar of mustard in the air).
Congratulations to all the winners this year. Looking forward to looking at your work.
